Wah Kee Sea Land Transportation Limited (WKSL) is the leading logistics service provider for plastic raw materials in Hong Kong and has over the years been recognized as the most reliable and innovative within the industry.

WKSL places high value in human resources, having a cohesive team of 100 strong well-trained employees. Comprehensive and well-developed training courses on quality standards and work safety are held regularly and are compulsory for all employees.

To leverage on the employee expertise for efficient operations, we maintain a substantial portfolio of the equipment and machinery of superb quality, handling more than 500,000 mt of plastic raw materials per annum. Over the past few years, we have invested substantially in our computer system in order to improve visibility and control of our supply chain services.

WKSL operates on warehouse and container yard with the best facilities in terms of location and operational efficiency. Our warehouse is located at Hutchison Logistics Centre, Container Terminal 4, Kwai Chung. The building itself is a most modernized and sophisticated infrastructure where even tractors with 45' jumbo container trailers can reach each floor.

Our container yard is situated at STT3678 Tsing Yi Hong Wan Road, next to Container Terminal 9 and only 20 minutes’ drive to the portal into Mainland China, the best scenario for cross border transportation. The in-house TeleEye facility installed not only strengthens our security and enables close internal monitoring, but also offers clients an actual view into our operation by going online.

We are dedicated to providing quality customer services. By obtaining ISO certifications for ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 in 2014, we have demonstrated our compliance with and commitment to industry respected practices regarding quality management systems, services as well as environmental, safety and health standards.

Company History

We commenced our business in 1950s with only 5 people and when we started to serve the Tsing Yi plant of Dow Chemical Pacific Limited in 1976, we had less than 40 employees, and storage space of 17,000 s.f. Today, we employ over 100 people with 120,000 s.f. of best quality warehouse and a container depot of 60,000 s.f.
